Volunteer Fire Departments and Rescue Squad

 Volunteer fire departments have long been a tradition in Perry County. Neighbors help neighbors. When someone calls 911 to report a fire, the dispatcher notifies the appropriate volunteer fire department in Perry County. Do not call these volunteer fire departments to report a fire! Call 911 IMMEDIATELY.

 Linden Volunteer Fire Department 

 Lobelville Volunteer Fire Department

Cedar Creek Volunteer Fire Department

 Cedar Creek VFD holds firefighter training on the first Saturday at 9:00 a.m., with monthly business meetings at 10:00 a.m. Donations are always welcome and can be mailed to P.O. Box 187, Linden, TN 37096. Anyone interested in joining as a firefighter or auxiliary member should call Chief Marc Mosher at 402-326-7457.

Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department

Flatwoods VFD meetings are held at the Fire Hall on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Training follows the business meeting. Fish fry fundraisers are held on the first Friday of April through November, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Call (931) 589-0049 by 3:30 or curbside.

Pineview Volunteer Fire Department 

Pineview Community VFD monthly meetings are on the second Tuesday at6:30 pm. Firefighter training and committee 2^nd Saturday of every month at 8:30 If you want to join the team, please attend one of our meetings. Donations: PO Box 94, Linden, TN 37096.

Pope Volunteer Fire Department 

Perry County’s emergency needs are served by a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals who coordinate with the all-volunteer Rescue Squad and the Fire Departments of Linden and Lobelville. These First Responders commit to intensive ongoing training to prepare for the emergencies that we face in our community – whether they are health, fire, accidents, weather-related, or natural disasters.
